Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen & Arthur Price celebrate 10th anniversary with… ‘Cake’!
Arthur Price, the UK’s leading manufacturer of cutlery and gifts, and doyenne of design, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen will be celebrating 10 years of collaboration at this year’s Spring Fair (2011) with the launch of the eagerly anticipated ‘Let Them Eat Cake’ range.
Following the overwhelming success of the ‘Mugnificent’ fine bone china mug range launched last year, Laurence has further expanded his ceramics offering with the extraordinarily decadent ‘Let Them Eat Cake’ collection. Expect ultra-vibrant colours and the thrilling combination of floral patterns to create an indulgent, evocative style of which Marie Antoinette herself would no doubt have been proud.
Let Them Eat Cake includes a stunningly attractive 2-tier cake stand which retails for £29.50; a pair of canapé plates with cake forks, a pair coffee cups and saucers with coffee spoons (both retailing at £22.50) and a gift boxed mug with teaspoon (£12.50). Additionally at Spring Fair, Laurence will be unveiling 4 new mug designs including the frivolously titled; Glamazon, Bow Tied, Pretty Boys and Angela Ribbon.
Simon Price, CEO of Arthur Price explains the secret of their long-term partnership; “Laurence has an incredible imagination, his creative flair is something that we embrace. At Arthur Price we’re able to help develop his vision into reality. Since we launched the first ever range of designer cutlery a decade ago we’ve established an incredibly successful working relationship. We both enjoy fresh challenges and the opportunity to create something completely – so expect more projects in the future as there are some exciting developments in the pipeline.”
